War is where the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other.
Harry Potter is all about confronting fears, finding inner strength, and doing what is right in the face of adversity. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend.
Don’t worry about what people think. They don’t do it very often.
Those who lack courage will always find a philosophy to justify it.

Some people like to say “Life is short!” They’re wrong! Life is long… especially if you make bad decisions.
There’s a reason behind every action
Sometimes, out-of-nowhere, life just decides that it’s time to throw a curve ball right at your face. You have no option but to be left wondering why it was so. It is only natural for us to ponder about these situations and sometimes come through many different conclusions. However, be worried if your conclusion comes out along these lines: “Well sometimes $#&% happens for no reason, don’t overthink it.”
It may not look like it, but you just set yourself a mind trap that will haunt you for months to come. Take a random day you’ve interacted with a diverse group of people. By diverse I mean people you love, people you are indifferent about and even those you hate. Now think back on what you did, every single sentence, every single gesture, every single emotional response, all of it was for your own benefit. Nobody just outright does things with the intent to hurt themselves.
At one point in my life I disagreed with this school of thought, but I outgrew it recently and this is why: People mistake the meaning of the word benefit. There is a great deal of difference between benefiting from something and gaining advantage over something, and this moral line is something we all have to tread carefully everyday. Sometimes I think that is the psychological definition of a normal person. Those who do things without their own personal benefit in thought are mentally unstable, those who take advantage of others are morally corrupt… then we have ourselves, right smack in the middle of this insanity.
Next time life throws you a curve ball, remember this. Whoever is throwing that curve ball wants something. It’s not always bad, but it’s never for no reason. Don’t feel bad for over-analyzing it. Remember that when you get right down to it… when you get right down to it… we are all trying to shape the world around us in a way to make our own existence more comfortable.
